Firearms Purchase & Compliance Policy

Firearms Purchase & Compliance Policy

Effective Date: [Insert Date]

Plymouth Heritage Gunworks is committed to responsible, lawful firearm sales and strict compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

1. Legal Compliance

All firearm, ammunition, magazine, parts, and accessory sales are subject to applicable federal, state, and local law.

Customers are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply in their jurisdiction before placing an order.

2. Firearm Transfers

Firearms purchased online must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License holder (“FFL”) unless otherwise permitted by law.

The receiving FFL is responsible for completing the legal transfer process, including required paperwork and background checks.

3. Background Checks

All firearm transfers require completion of applicable background checks and required federal and state documentation.

Submitting payment online does not guarantee that a firearm may be legally transferred to the customer.

4. Massachusetts Customers

Massachusetts customers may be required to possess a valid License to Carry (“LTC”) or other required license, permit, or documentation depending on the product or transaction.

Certain firearms, magazines, ammunition, and accessories may be restricted or prohibited under Massachusetts law.

5. Restricted Items

We will not knowingly sell, ship, or transfer products where prohibited by law.

Orders may be refused or canceled if a product is restricted in the customer’s jurisdiction or if legal compliance cannot be verified.

6. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, the customer represents that they are legally eligible to purchase, possess, and receive the ordered products.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all products ordered are legal in their state, city, county, or municipality.

7. Failed, Denied, or Refused Transfers

If a customer fails a background check, is denied transfer, refuses transfer, fails to provide required documentation, or cannot legally receive a firearm, the transaction may be canceled.

In such cases, the customer may be responsible for shipping charges, return shipping, FFL fees, administrative fees, and restocking fees.

8. Inspection Before Transfer

Customers should inspect firearms at the receiving FFL before completing the transfer.

Once a firearm is transferred to the customer, the sale is final and the firearm is considered accepted by the customer.

9. Safety & Responsible Use

Customers are responsible for safe handling, secure storage, lawful transportation, and responsible use of all firearms, ammunition, and related products.

10. No Legal Advice

Information provided by Plymouth Heritage Gunworks is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered legal advice.

Customers should consult applicable laws, legal counsel, or relevant authorities if they have questions about firearm legality or compliance.
